The first of the handovers occurred at Wellington Public School, whose students had contributed artworks and pieces to be displayed and sold at the art show last year.
The second allotment of funding was handed over to Delma Gersbach and will go towards aged care residents in the community's PAPA housing.

"The money will be going towards PAPA - the Provision of Aged Persons Accomodation," Ms Gersbach said.
The group currently has 37 low cost rental units located in four different areas across the town that have one or two bedrooms.
"We have plans at the moment to build three new two bedroom units in Arthur Street," Ms Gersbach said.
"It's wonderful, we received one contribution from the government, right at the beginning and we've done everything since on our own, so it's really great to get a bit of help," Ms Gersbach said.
Quota's Frances Cookson said the group's stated aim in distributing the funding was to ensure that the money would be spent within Wellington, in order to improve the town.
