Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) is advising the community that the works are expected to be completed by Saturday, July 4 2020.
The existing play space will be closed off to the public, to allow for the removal and suitable disposal of the existing play elements, soft fall material and exterior fencing.
All elements of the play equipment, excluding the climbing net, has been assessed and determined to have reached the end of its useful life.
The climbing net is intended to be salvaged for suitable re-use.
The existing area will be covered with a compacted granite material.
