She will learn from some of Harvard's top educators at the course that will be run by the university's Graduate School of Education.
Studying through the Principal's Centre in Australia: Leadership for School Excellence, the four-day program is set to bring together school principals from across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
The aim of the course is to focus on instructional leadership, school culture, leadership development, strategy, and family and community engagement.
Mrs Clarke said she was looking forward to attending the program, and would be joined by St Laurence's Dubbo principal Susan Byrnes.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
"It's going to be a great few days, mixing with school leaders from across Australasia, sharing our knowledge and exploring best practices in education," Mrs Clarke said.
"A lot of the content during the course will be based on local learning contexts, which will be very beneficial in being able to put into practice what I have learnt when I return from Sydney.
"Having the opportunity to learn from not only the lecturers during the course, but to share and reflect on leadership practices while building connections with school leaders from such a wide area will be amazing."
St Mary's Catholic School also has three School Assistant Learning Support positions available.
