A man will face court after more than 28 grams of the drug ice was allegedly found during a vehicle stop in Wellington on August 28.

About 12.25am on August 28, officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District were conducting patrols of the Wellington township when they observed a vehicle travelling on the Mitchell Highway.
It is alleged an object was thrown from the front passenger door of the vehicle, before police stopped the car and spoke with the two male occupants.
It is alleged a clear plastic bag containing a crystalline substance, believed to be 28.6 grams of methylamphetamine, was located on the roadway.

The male passenger, aged 40, was arrested and taken to Wellington Police Station.
He was then taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity.
"This quantity of methylamphetamine is valued at $5000 and has the potential to produce 280 street deals," Orana Mid Western Police District Crime Manager, Detective Chief Inspector Denise Godden said.
The man was bail refused to appear before Dubbo Local Court on August 28.
