On May 28, theatre company Bell Shakespeare visited the local school to provide an engaging production titled, 'WORDS, WORDS, WORDS!' where the popular playwrights works came to life thanks to three talented performers.
Bell Shakespeare is Australia's national theatre company that specialises in William Shakespeare's plays.
The audience, comprised of Year 9 and 10 students who were captivated by the performance.

Whilst the tragedies, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth were the key focus points of the production, many other Shakespearean plays were alluded to.
The students were also informed of Shakespeare's language and dramatic techniques very cleverly throughout the production.
Wellington High School acknowledged Foxtel who sponsored the school in light of the drought, which the community has endured recently.
When regions are affected by drought, especially one as long lasting as this, everyone in the community is affected.
Wellington High School definitely appreciates the fact that companies such as Foxtel and Bell Shakespeare are thinking of their country counterparts.
