- Car and Boot Sale: Wellington, June 1
Come along to the Wellington Uniting Church on Saturday to get your hands on a range of pre-loved books of for sale at unbelievably low prices. There will also be car boots with a huge range of items. Spaces are available for $15 per vehicle. Please phone 6845 1853 to book a space.
- Smokescreen: In Cold Bood, Dubbo, June 1
Truman Capote's In Cold Blood will be screened at the Western Plains Cultural Centre as part of the Smokescreen series.
The screening will be at 4pm, followed by a discussion after the movie at the Old Bank. Tickets are available at the door or from the WPCC reception.
- League Stars kick off, Narromine, June 3
A new League Stars Program is coming to Narromine for six weeks. The League Stars program caters for children of all abilities focusing on developing movement skills run by experienced NRL development coaches.
The program is open to students aged 9 to 12 and costs only $75pp and every participant will receive a cool League Stars pack. The program will be on every Monday from 3:30pm at Cale Oval until June 24. Tickets can be purchased via the League Stars Narromine Facebook event.
- MudgeeQue, Mudgee, June 1
The MudgeeQue Festival will celebrate a range of great local produce, including barbecues and slow cooked meats. More than 1000 people are expected to attend the sold out event which begins approximately 3pm . The event is being held at Melrose Park, on Melrose Road. Visit www.mudgeeque.com.au

Come along to the Geurie Showground this Saturday when the Geurie Goats take on the Yeoval Eagles for the Oilsplus Cup Northern Division Round 8 match.
- Rhino Lodge Sunday Session, Dubbo, June 2
Enjoy woodfire pizzas and cheese platters with family and friends in a relaxed Sunday Session at the Rhino Lodge. Allyn Smith will be providing the entertainment. The event will run from noon until 4pm.
- Gorillas take on the Rams, Blayney, June 1
The Narrromine Gorillas are on the road to take on the Blayney Rams for round eight of the New Holland Agriculture Cup. All the action will take place at King George Oval in Blayney.
- Art Exhibition, Mudgee, May 31
Artists Jason McDonald and Reg Buckland will showcase their works at the Artisan on Lewis at 13 from from 8am to 4pm. Jason captures a blend of photography and digital design, while Reg's work is acrylic painting.
