He’s new to the town, and to the state.
“I've come all the way from Townsville in North Queensland to be the new journalist at the Wellington Times.
“I'm already getting settled in and meeting everyone I can, so if you see me around, don't be afraid to say hello.
“I'm always looking for the next story to tell about Wellington, so let me know if you've heard of anything or even if you just want to chat!”
Daniel’s laptop and mobile mean he can work from anywhere in town and he plans to work from the cafe’s in Wellington on a regular basis to make sure he stays in regular contact with the community.
