Really? Not even one? How is that even possible?
They are three most common reactions I get when I tell people I haven't seen a Star Wars movie.
It is usually followed by a look of disgust and the question: How is this even possible?
I'm not exactly sure. Born in 1984, I should have been in my prime Star Wars years in the 90s but it just never eventuated.
It has led to an uncomfortable 24-hours on May 4 (aka May the Fourth Be With You) where I try to regurgitate iconic lines from the films I have heard on other television shows and nod uncomfortably as people debate their favourite Star Wars films.
The power of Star Wars is such that the characters have transformed into pop culture with the likes of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi gaining cult-like status.
That's the mark of an iconic series - that the characters can transcend the test of time.
But before you judge me on the errors of my ways, I blame filmmakers for making so many quality movies.
Quote me a scene from any Rocky, Karate Kid or Back to the Future and I can recall it word-for-word.
Yet I realise I have done the wrong thing. That's why I vow before I am 40 to watch every Star Wars movie with my children.
But where do I start? Film release order? I'll have to check with some Star Wars aficionados to get it right.
Judging people's gaps in their movie knowledge makes for great pub room debate. Because there's always at least one so-called "must-see" film that those gathered haven't seen. (Surely everyone has seen The Shawshank Redemption right?).
But I plan to cross a few off the list in the next couple of years.
May the force be with me.
