Farm dogs will once again have the chance to compete to be the hardest workers in Australia with the 2020 Cobber Challenge.

The three week challenge records the distance, working duration and speed of the competing dogs. Points are awarded each day and by the end a champion is crowned.
This year, the 5th time the event has been held, six favourite competitors from previous years will go head-to-head with six new contenders.
Last year, Daniel Pumpa and his dog Turbo ranked eighth.

Mr Pumpa is a station hand at Roseville Park Merino and Poll Merino stud in Wambangalang where there are 6500 sheep.
This was the first time the pair had competed in the Cobber Challenge.
Cobber's marketing manager Kellie Savage said the challenge provided hard data that a good working dog could do the work of at least two or three people.
"In previous years, dogs have regularly clocked over 50 kilometres in a day, highlighting their contribution to the farm team," she said.
As well as a year's supply of Cobber Working Dog feed, the winner will also get $3000 to be spent on working dog breeding, training or participation in working dog trials.
