Marcus and Monika Cooke, owners of Cookies Cafe, participated in the World's Greatest Shave, raising just under $1000.
The World's Greatest Shave is one of Australia's longest running and most loved fundraising events, that raises funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.
The husband and wife have both been touched by cancer in their lives and wanted to help other families in need.
Helping out with the shave on the day was barber Michael Smith from Fusion and hairdresser Sue Bestwick from Sharon's Haircut Shop.
A good crowd turned out to show their support for the couple with some even shaving or colouring their own hair.

A silent auction was also held with all funds going to the World's Greatest Shave.
While Mrs Cooke was a little disappointed that they didn't reach their initial goal of $5000, she was still pleased that they were able to help such a worthy cause.
"It is a great feeling of achievement. Marcus made a poignant observation saying that we raised enough money for two families to be with their loved ones for a week while undergoing treatment," she said.
"And that's just priceless. I just feel blessed that we could do it."
Mrs Cooke said it was a pity hair doesn't grow back quickly as she would love to do it again soon.
"I will do it again in a couple of years, when I've got a bit more hair," she said.
