At the Annual General Meeting in February, WATS welcomed Lizzy Rich to the team as secretary.
Ms Rich is an experienced WATS member both on stage and off.
Shirley Drysdale is continuing her role as WATS president.
WATS vice-president Noel Grimes said the AGM "was well attended."
Last year the theatre group put on a production of Ma Baker's Tonic, which Mr Grimes said was "highly successful."
While it is still being decided what the 2020 production will be, Mr Grimes said they were gearing up to hold a show possibly by late July.
Previous WATS production shows have included the Sound of Music, My Fair Lady plus the King and I.
The group are always ready to welcome new members, whether they be directors, actors, cast and crew, so anyone wishing to get involved just need to contact 6845 1773 or visit www.wats2820.org
Anyone wishing to hire a costume for parties or events can also visit WATS costume hire, which is open Saturday mornings.
