Round two of Dubbo Regional Council's Community Assistance Program is open for applications. It's available for groups that are based in the council local government area - or operate primarily in the LGA - and deliver a service that benefits the community.
Council's manager community services John Watts said that previous recipients included charitable, health, animal wellbeing, and environmental organisations, as well as special interest groups.

"Council dedicates $30,000 to the Community Financial Assistance Program each year to help ease the burden of not-for-profit organisations that contribute to our community," Mr Watts said.
Applications close on Friday, March 13.
Application forms can be found on the Dubbo Regional Council website or in person at council's customer experience centres in Dubbo or Wellington.
