The installation of safety barriers, rumble strips and wide centrelines are part of more than $10.7 million that will be spent across the electorate as part of the Safer Roads Program.

Round three of the program will see five roadways benefit from the funding including the Mitchell Highway ($3.64m), Hill End Road ($2.435m), the Renshaw-McGirr Way ($1.985m), Goolma Road ($1.405m) and the Burrendong Way ($1.27m).
Eight projects will be undertaken.
In announcing the funding Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said the program was about making roads as safe as possible.
"Every life matters, and that's why we're investing in life-saving measures across our road network to see that every motorist who sets off on a journey makes it home to their family and friends."
The Saving Lives on Country Roads program forms part of the NSW Government's Safer Roads Program, which is a five-year, $822 million program.
