The annual 'Music In Between' allows those travelling between the two major events to enjoy a break, while still listening to great live acts.

Visitors have been treated to plenty of entertainment just on the first day, with more planned this week.

Starting on Monday, the Wellington Soldiers Club was the place to be as local singers Mick Austin and Chris Rogers kept the crowd entertained.

Organiser Nigel Stanley said the event has attracted singers from Adelaide, to Melbourne, Queensland and beyond.

Mr Stanley said he was looking forward to another great festival.

Wollongong local Paul Cook was at the Parkes Elvis Festival over the weekend and stopped by in Wellington to catch up with his Sydney friends Margaret and Roger Cook.

"I hope it takes off (as a big festival), This is a great venue and we will be coming back next year," Mrs Roger said.

Central coast resident Margaret Cole took the chance to catch up with friends while she was there.

As part of Music In Between a special dinner and show will be held on January 16 at Hermitage Hill with artist Jeff Hancox and special guests performing from 6:30pm.
