Langley's Coaches reports its offer to provide free return transport to Trangie and Warren on Saturday was well received.
Community members wanting another chance to get behind the region's small towns can board a Langley's coach for free on Saturday and travel to either Yeoval and Wellington, or Narromine, Collie and Gilgandra.
Company owner Phil Langley said on Saturday's inaugural drought relief shopping trip passengers had wandered in downtown Trangie, chatted with locals and browsed the shops, he said.
A variety of goods was purchased as well as lots of coffee and snacks.
Langley's was assisted in Trangie by local bus operator Jack James who ran a small shuttle bus to transport passengers across the town and the CWA were also very helpful, Mr Langley said.
In Warren the group spent two hours down the street shopping and having lunch before heading out to the Window on the Wetlands Centre where they enjoyed coffee and cakes and seeing the work of local artists, he said.
On the way home a large donation of goods was made to the Trangie CWA to distribute as needed.
