The organisation is among various businesses, shopping centre's, hotels and sporting fields within the town to have received the life saving device.
Red Cross first aid trainer George Chapman delivered the automated external defibrillator to WINS Community Centre on Tuesday, October 29.
Staff at WINS Community Centre said they greatly appreciated Mr Chapman's efforts to source funding, install and train them in the use of the equipment.
"We hope we do not have to use it but we are happy we've got one," they said.
Mr Chapman said he was pleased to have various automated external defibrillators spread throughout Wellington.
"Everybody wants to save a life and that's what it will come down to," he said.
