- Raising the Bar
Dubbo, June 27
Raising the Bar is a series of free pub talks on various topics. This world-wide intitiative is being bought to Dubbo thanks the University of Sydney School of Rural Health. Guest speaker Zdenka Kuncic will be talking about building a brain and synthetic intelligence, while Geraint Lewis will take us on a cosmic journey through space and time, with his talk on the universe. The event is being held at the Milestone Hotel from 5:30pm.
- Mungery Morning tea and market day
Mungery June 30
A morning tea market day will be held at the Mungery hall on Tullamore road at 10am on Sunday, June 30, to raise funds for the Narromine Shire Cancer Support group. There's plenty for the whole family with a number of market stalls and food. People are encouraged to bring along a plate to share, items for the white elephant stall and gold coins to help raise funds.
- Mindful artists exhibit work

Wellington Arts Centre are hosting Waste 2 Art for the next couple of weeks at the Old Western Stores Building from Thursday to Sundays. The exhibition is all about reusing and recycling materials to create interesting work. You can see it for yourself from 10am to 2pm.
- Riding Championships
Warren, June 30
The Central West Adult riding club championships are on this weekend at the Warren Showground and racecourse. It will be a day packed with dressage, show jumping and hacking with plenty of prizes up for grabs. The day kicks off at 8am. - Handmade Art Markets

This popular event allows visitors to talk to artists and artisans, where they can learn the passion that drives them to produce and sample homemade goods. The markets are being held at the Western Plains Cultural Centre from 10am and cost is free to attend.
