Cakes, slices, cupcakes, scones and a gold coin donation all helped to raise $1642.50 which will go to the Cancer Council NSW and their vital research work.
Wellington's Diane Neville organised the morning tea fundraiser on May 23, which was held at the Uniting Church.
As well as delicious savoury and sweet treats available, there was also a trading table with many bargains and a guessing competition.
Ms Neville was so happy with the final fundraiser total.
"It was about $800 more than last year," she explained.
"We were absolutely thrilled to be able to raise this amount of money, which all goes back to the Cancer Council."
