Family and friends are mourning the death of a young father who has been described as "a brilliant bloke" and family man.

Adam Ross, 30, was planning to marry his fiance Caitlin King and welcomed the birth of his youngest child Hudson seven months ago, but his life was cut short in a motorbike crash on Saturday evening.
Mr Ross was on his way home when he hit a kangaroo on Goolma Road between Wellington and Goolma.
Mr Ross grew up in Baradine but moved to the Orange area about 12 years ago and was living with Miss King and their children at Cudal.

As well as looking forward to becoming Mr Ross's father-in-law, Miss King's father Roger King previously worked with him and said he was "a brilliant bloke".
"I've known him for years, I worked with him for a couple of years at PJL, he used to work on the plasma cutter, then he got an apprenticeship as a fitter machinist at PJL," he said.
Mr King said Mr Ross had a daughter, Hallie-Anne, from a previous relationship and he cared for Oliver, a son Miss King had from a previous relationship.
"He lived for his family," Mr King said.
"As far as he was concerned [Oliver] was his son."
He said Mr Ross used to take Oliver fishing and he also enjoyed playing golf and riding motorbikes.
"He was an average bloke, a family man," Mr King said.
A date for Mr Ross's funeral is yet to be finalised however a service and burial is being planned and will be held at Cudal.
"Most of his family is buried in Baradine but his father said his kids are here," Mr King said.
"Adam had a life insurance policy that will help with the house and PJL will help as well, everyone has been phenomenal."
To help Miss King and her family through this tough period and to pay funeral and living costs, her brother Rohan King set up a Go Fund Me page.Rohan said Mr Ross was the family's sole bread winner and he described him as being like a brother.
The family is hoping to raise $7500. By Tuesday afternoon just under half of that amount had been raised.
"My sister just had a child, she doesn't have a job, they were relying on him quite a lot," he said.
