Trade young cattle rose 15 cents, feeder cattle gained 10 to 15 cents, steers making from 270 to 308 cents, heifers 250 to 290 cents per kg.
Restocker young cattle were dearer, steers reaching 338 cents and heifers topping at 283 cents per kg.
Heavy steers and heifers improved 5 cents, plainer cows were up 25 cents, while the better heavy cows rose 11 cents per kg.

At Dubbo on Monday 7035 lambs penned in a mixed quality yarding with good numbers of plain quality lightweight lambs and hoggets.
Processor light lambs rose $5, trade lambs gained $16 to $18, heavy lambs improved $7 to $9.
Merino lambs finished up to $22 dearer with the trade weights making from $119 to $160, restockers provided solid support for light lambs due to the rain paying $80 to $131 for the better types. Restocker Merino lambs made from $41 to $70. Hoggets reach $170.

4860 mutton penned in a plainer quality yarding where the light and medium sheep were firm to $4 dearer, while the heavy end were $3 to $5 cheaper.
Quotations: light ewes $39 to $88, medium ewes $77 to $140, heavy ewes $110 to $154, light wethers $40 to $78, medium wethers $92 to $123, heavy wethers $140 to $150, rams $46 to $120.
