A single aircraft will cover vast areas of western NSW as nearly 50,000 wild dog 1080 baits will be dropped in inaccessible areas over a two-week period in early October. It follows an extensive ground baiting program. It is a mammoth operation covering more than 20 million hectares.

A massive aerial baiting program of almost half of NSW is about to get underway as the wild dog problem moves inexorably south.
