Peachey came onto the Melbourne Cricket Ground when the match hung ion the balance, with Queensland attempted to run down a 22-12 deficit.
The Panthers utility didn’t see a lot of action, playing less than 10 minutes, but in his three runs he made 35 metres, also making a tackle.
Peachey will be hoping Blues coach Brad Fittler will call on him more in game two in Sydney, where NSW will be aiming to win their first series since 2014 and just their second in 13 years.
The utility’s Penrith team-mates James Maloney and Nathan Cleary attracted plenty of attention for their role in the 10-point victory.
Queensland are expected to recall Billy Slater and Matt Scott to add experience for the second match.
