Around 100 people have confirmed their attendance to the reunion which will be held at the Hall on Saturday, March 31.
Organiser, Helen Yeo, said a significant portion of those who will be attending are people who originate from the area.
“It’s good because they will still remember some of the hall’s history which will be lost once they go,” she said.
“They have valuable history to share.
“We also have a time capsule we put near the cenotaph in 2000, we’re going to lift that rock and put more stuff in there.”
Helen encourages locals to get involved in the celebrations which will include a formal ceremony and interaction with a time capsule at the location. RSVP is encouraged by contacting Helen on 6886 6103.
