Council’s Visitor Information Team Leader, Julie Webster, said the initiative embraced the essence of shopping local, with all produce included in the gift packs grown and produced by local people.
The Visitor Information Centres both stock local produce and products all year round, but in the spirit of Christmas Mrs Webster is encouraging locals to share the region with the ones they love.
“It’s so important to support our local producers and Christmas is a perfect opportunity to boast the great product that comes from Dubbo and Wellington,” Mrs Webster said.
Dubbo and Wellington Information Centres are making it easy with gift packs available for purchase with a wide selection of local treats.
“The gift packs are just perfect for the Christmas season and are a great way of taking a slice of the region to your family and friends,” Mrs Webster said.
“They can range in all sizes and can be wrapped in a flat pack style perfect for travel or in a presentation style to make a statement.”
“If you are struggling to find the perfect gift the team at the centre can help you put together an amazing custom-made pack tailored to your individual needs.”
