While the lucky winner went to Brandy Simpson of Mudgee Public School, Bronte Runciman’s design was a standout in what Mr Grant said was a tough competition with a record number of entries.
Bronte – who was surprised at the news – said she based her design around the 12 days of Christmas poem, written into the shape of a Christmas tree.
“The entries received this year were first class which made my decision to pick a winner a tough but enjoyable task,” said Mr Grant
“Narromine took out second with William Edwards from Narromine Public School, and Huckleberry Jurd from St Augustine’s taking out third.
“I would like to thank each and every student who sent in an entry, their work was outstanding, I am already looking forward to next year’s competition.”
