Saturday saw games moved to Geurie and Rygate due to some concerns the Association had with the outfield at Pioneer which are currently being resolved and will return on October 28.

Geurie were always hosting the Amaroo Peckers but were also allocated the Amaroo Ducks and Ball Busters game.
Geurie versus Peckers
Geurie 9 for 74 (Leigh Dawson 37 and Tom Wark 13). Two wickets each to Alan Horrocks, Brian Furner, Bollard and Dan Singh.
Peckers got the runs in 14 overs with loss of only three wickets (Dan Singh 34 and Mick Dunn 23) with one wicket each to Kyle Forgione and Simon Micklemore.
Man of Match went to Dan Singh.
Farmers versus Cowboys
Cowboys were dismissed in 13 overs for 64 runs (Mitchell Cusack, Kenny Everson and Aiden Ryan all 16 runs), with Ian Smith and Sam Mason two wickets apiece.
Farmers got the runs in 14 overs with the loss of four wickets (Sam Mason 34 and Angus Maurice 22).
Man of Match went to Sam Mason.
Redferns versus Federal Hotel
Redferns 8 for 186 from their allotted 20 overs (Dillon Price 31, Gary 29 and Harry Redfern 21) with two wickets to Mason Dutfield.
Federal replied by being all out in the 19th over with 139 (Daniel Stanley 41, Mac Dutfield 26) with Luke Connelly picking up three wickets.
Man of Match – both teams for the spirit the game was played in.
Ducks versus Ball Busters
The youngsters (Ball Busters) batted first and were dismissed for 47 runs. Ducks in reply were 3 for 49 from 8 overs (Luke Ryan 27) with a wicket each to Chatfield and Ryan.
Man of the Match went to the Ducks for the spirit and support shown to the youngsters.

GEURIE: 1pm – Geurie to host Farmers; 4pm – Redferns versus Dubbo Ducks.
RYGATE: 1pm – Federal versus Dubbo Peckers; 4pm – Cowboys versus Ball Busters.
Representative cricket
Wellington hosted Gulgong at Rygate park over the weekend for the Western Zone Plate KO.
The Nic Cosier-lead team once again made it hard work chasing runs for victory.
Gulgong batted first and were dismissed for 148 runs (Jarod Clulow 41 and David Laye 31). Cody Hannelly four wickets for 35 runs from five overs and Nic three wickets for 25 runs from five overs also, along with team stalwart Brad “Turtle” Johnson 1 for 31 from 8 overs being the pick of the bowlers.
Wellington once again were cruising in the run chase being 1 for 57, 2 for 83, 5 for 103 and then nine wickets down when passed the score, relying heavily on Nic and Wilber Redfern to get them over the line.
Nic 33 no, Kyle Nonnemacher 29 and Bailey Preston 23; N Jarvis 2 for 24 from 10 overs and G Parish 2 for 35 from 9 overs were Gulgong’s main bowlers.
Wellington’s team for this game was: Bailey Preston, Kyle Nonnemacker, Josh Connelly, Nic Cosier, Dillon Price, Cody Hannelly, Brad Johnson, Mitchell Cusack, Kenny Everson, Liam Brien and Will Redfern.
Their next outing in the KO is planned for Sunday, October 29 with venue and opposition TBA due to a game this weekend to be played.
The Brewery Shield draw is not to hand yet.
Juniors
12Bs – play one day cricket:
Playing Rugby, Wellington batted first and were 2 for 100 after their 25 overs (Dan Keirle 20 ret, Charlie Kiss 21 ret, Will Taylor 13 ret and Kieran Vernon 10 ret).
In reply Rugby were 6 for 107 with No Balls 45 of the total, no doubt the coaches will be working hard on this area Friday if it is not the scoring system Dubbo Juniors are using.
12As – play two day split cricket:
Batting first against RSL Red, Wellington are 2 for 91 after their allotted 20overs (Lachlan George 21, Nate Bradford 17 ret with Max Mason 11 no and Deacon George 9 no).
RSL Red are 5 for 83 and will continue their innings first on Saturday.
Once again no balls appear to be a problem.
14 years and 16 years players:
No results to hand from the progress of games the Association has players involved with Dubbo teams.
They too play “two day split” cricket so hopefully there will be an update on how they went in their first games next week.
Milo T20 Blast
Milo T20 Blast begins this afternoon, Wednesday, October 18 at 3.30pm until 5pm at Pioneer Park.
Come along with a drink, hat, sunscreen plus comfortable clothing and shoes to run around in.
Registrations if not already done will also be taken.
Milo T20 Blast is open to any youngsters aged from five to 10-11 years of age.
