What’s New in Non-Fiction
Once we were Sisters: is the story of Maxine and Sheila Kohler. Growing up in the suffocating gentility of 1950s South Africa, the girls plan grand lives for themselves that will bring them out of the long shadow cast by their father’s death and their overbearing mother.
But when Maxine is killed in a car accident whilst her husband was driving, just before her fortieth birthday, Sheila must return to South Africa to find answers, but she also has to face the history of violence and the lingering effects of the most unusual childhood she shared with her sister.
Fishing Impossible: Three fishing fanatics, ten Epic Adventures. Charlie, Jay and Blowfish are three obsessive fishing buddies, each with their own area of expertise. Hatching plans for the weirdest, most extreme fishing trips imaginable, they head to ten fantastic destinations around the world.
