Edna celebrated with her daughter Olivia, Olivia’s husband Chris and their children Ella and Jye. Daughter Rhonda Orman and her Les travelled from Queensland. 

Edna was born and lived in Wellington, married a local man John Wykes and lived in the Yeoval area until her husband died in 1969.

Edna moved back to Wellington in 1970 and worked at the old district hospital until she retired.

Edna became very active with Wellington’s Senior Citizens.

She was secretary and treasurer for a number of years and became a lifetime member. Edna also received the Senior Citizen Community Award.
