5.40PM WEDNESDAY: A man was rushed to Orange hospital in a critical condition on Wednesday after a semi-trailer and three cars were involved in a collision on the Mitchell Highway at Larras Lee, north of Molong.

Police said the accident occurred at a road works site about 15km from Molong at about 12.40pm.
It involved a heavy vehicle travelling south, a Ford Ranger utility, a Toyota Hiace, and a Mitsubishi Lancer.
The male driver of the Ford Ranger was seriously injured after being trapped. He was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The truck driver, a 57-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to Orange hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
The occupants of the other vehicles were also uninjured.
Police said their ages were not known.
Canobolas Local Area Command officers and the Crash Investigation Unit attended the scene.
Traffic was diverted for several hours around the crash site.

A multiple vehicle accident has forced the closure of the the Mitchell Highway at Larras Lee, north of Molong.
Initial reports state that people are trapped in the wreckage after the accident occurred about 12.43pm at Three Rivers Road.
The highway is closed in both directions.
Northbound motorists are being diverted in Orange on to Burrendong Way via Stuart Town and on to the Mitchell Hwy south of Wellington.
Southbound motorists are being diverted south of Wellington onto Burrendong Way and into Orange to the Mitchell Hwy.
Motorists in Molong are being diverted onto Banjo Patterson Way and Renshaw McGirr Way to return to the Mitchell Hwy in Wellington.
Emergency services including a helicopter are in attendance.
