Please keep in mind the Country Regional Meet in January 28-29, at our very own Wellington Pool! All of our swimmers are eligible to swim within this carnival within 50 and 100m events, other events do require achieving a QT.
We would love our swimmers to enter as well as we need as much help as we can muster if you can contact Jo Clarke clarke.mehruda@gmail.com to let her know that you are available to assist it would be greatly appreciated.
This event is set to attract over 300 swimmers plus their families to our town and we intend on providing them with a smooth and well organised carnival but to do this we will need man power, please assist us in making this possible.
Dubbo Regional Council has identified our Pool as a Major Project requiring funding, for which they are seeking community feedback and voting upon these projects.
I urge you to take the time to voice your opinion and throw your support behind any attempts the Council are making to do work upon our Pool, there is an online survey available at www.dubbo.nsw.gov.au (go to Stronger Communities fund - Major Projects).
This is a very real opportunity to see something fantastic for our community become a reality, please do not let this opportunity slip by.
