Macaquarie Valley Cricket Council under-12s, under-14s & under-16s played Mitchell Cricket Council in Bathurst over the weekend. 

Local boy Artie Taylor played in the under-14s losing team this week. He’ll be looking to bounce back soon. Artie’s younger brother Rusty also played over the weekend. He lined up for the under-12s team. Like the under-14s, the under-12s were outplayed.  Rusty had a busy day however, getting to bowl quite a few overs and being batting for six runs not out by the game’s finish.

Juniors

The ‘Come & Try Milo T20Blast’ will be held at 4pm Wednesday at Rygate Park. Girls and boys from five to 12 years of age are welcome to attend. This is the first year Wellington has participated. Further details, including dates, fees and times will be explained at the session.

The program is set to run for about an-hour-and-half all up each time.
