According to a notice from the Western Plains Regional Council this Saturday from 7am through the weekend work will commence at the northern end of the main street near macquarie street and finish at the southern end of Percy st near the library.
Works on Saturday will be undertaken from macquarie street to Giborne st intersection. Traffic controllers will be in place, motorists can expect minor interruptions and minor delays to traffic.
From Midday the main street wil be closed at various locations and reopened Sunday evening.
Closures at midday : Gisborne st intersection to the Warne st roundabout, during the closures highway traffic will be diverted via the Wellington heavy vehicle by pass. Local traffic can access the remaining open sections via alternative routes.
