With the belief that the biggest difference can be made among children, local teacher Kate Kiss has taken White Ribbon Day to Wellington Public School for the second year running.

"We don't want them to be having a heavy concept because they are little minds but we want them to respect each other," she said.
"I just think it is very important in terms of boys viewing girls as equals right through from kindergarten."
Students tied white balloons to the fence of their school with their handwritten pledges.
They also discussed positive and respectful relationships in class.
Ms Kiss said discussion of these concepts was not limited to the day, but an ongoing part of the school's Kids Matter Program.
Year 6 student Ethan Pratt said to him the day meant both boys and girls treating each other with respect.
They also worked alongside Wellington High School to help make a slideshow for White Ribbon Day, which will be shared today at Wellington High School's assembly.
