The club had a fantastic season with the development of an under 6s with enrichment of the grass roots of league in the community.
The young Cowboys showed inspiration and honour in the 2015 season and have really impressed a lot of people, family members and especially myself.
"Good players inspire themselves, great players inspire each other".
A high standard of leadership was shown among players this season demonstrating it isn't how big you are, it's how big you play.
Many may have not been the strongest, may not have been the fastest, but they have certainly tried their hardest.
Everyone can be truly proud of those champion kids who are really loving and enjoying the game.
The presentation for the 2015 season was a tribute to a wonderful achievement of the players.
There was a new perpetual trophy award this year, the Memory of Alf Thomas, leadership of the year award.
This trophy was awarded to Mackenzie Dutfield.
Congratulations to him and the many other young players who were awarded trophies for their achievements in 2015.
Playing football with your feet and shoulders is one thing, playing football with your heart is another!
In summarising none of these achievements would have been possible without the committed efforts of the enthusiastic committee.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all of them for their support and their tireless efforts enabling the club to grow as it has done during the past 12 months.
The achievements of the young Cowboys can't be done without a strong committee.
The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday October 15 2015 and will be held at the Wellington RSL club at 6.30pm.
Development - never look back if you are planning to go that way! And if your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader!
