Wellington galloper Siderlite scored in the final race at Wellington for one of the town's favourite trainers Gary McCarney. Local gallopers filled second place in earlier races at Wellington with Godliness for Jim McMillan running a strong second in the feature race the Mountains and Rivers Flying (1100m) while Gary McCarney filled second place with Ready To Provide in the opening event.
