Police have allegedly located and seized seven firearms, jewellery, cash and illicit drugs, and two people have been charged following a search warrant at a home in Blayney yesterday.

About 6.15pm (Thursday 2 July 2015), officers attached to Chifley Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Carcoar Street.
It will be alleged, during the search warrant, police located:
A shortened .22 firearm, alleged to have been stolen;
A .303 gauge shotgun;
A .12 gauge shotgun;
Four other firearms, two which are believed to have been stolen;
Two carpet pythons;
Cash;
Jewellery;
Collectors coins; and,
Cannabis.
All items were seized for forensic examination.
Two men at the location, aged 20 and 22, were arrested at the scene and taken to Blayney Police Station.
The 20-year-old man has been charged with firearm, drug and possession of fauna offences. He was granted conditional bail, to appear at Blayney Local Court on Tuesday 4 August 2015.
The 22-year-old man was charged with firearm, drug and property offences. He was granted conditional bail, to appear at Blayney Local Court on Tuesday 4 August 2015.
