The people of Vanuatu say they are running out of food and medical supplies. It's a week since Cyclone Pam tore through the South Pacific island and Wellington Rotary wants to help.

"The Rotary crew will be at the 'Brooklyn' clearing sale near Mumbil on Saturday, then we will take a bucket round at the cricket for Vanuatu. At next week's Rotary markets all money raised will be given to the people there for food, medicine and supplies," Rotary's Ian Law said.
The death toll is predicted to jump when investigators head into other nearby islands.
"The Boot markets are always big, so there's a strong possibility we'll give the people of Vanuatu some very good support," Mr Law said
