Scott and Anna Brien's prized rams were selling well to buyers from as far as Crookwell. In an attractive setting in the blazing sunshine one ram set a blistering mark of $4200.
He was purchased by a local buyer.
Mr Brien delighted.
"I have had rams go for around the $4000 before so this was a good result," he said.
The CWA at Mumbil provided a hearty lunch and a very good crowd some under a shaded tent enjoyed the battle between buyer and auctioneer Landmark.
