Some 17,000 sheep were yarded for the sale which topped at $220 a head for first cross ewes bred in the Narromine district and selling to Gilgandra. Paul Alchin, Christie and Hood, Gilgandra; John Bullock, Hill Head, Wellington and Peter Thomas of Landmark MIlling Thomas, Dubbo, in Mr Bullock's pen of 303 first cross ewes August/September 2013 drop, July shorn, and sired by Bindaree Border Leicester rams.. These ewes sold at $203 a head to Neil Frogley, Rosebank, Arthurville.
