Former Wallaby rugby union full back Matt Burke joined the event to help the Geurie Goats win their first match since 2013. In a special rugby match against Graincorp Cup grand finalists Yeoval. Geurie did win with help from a number of Eastwood first grade players from the Sydney competition.

"It was great to be able to rally a group of the state's leading club players, head west and help the Geurie Goats get a win on the board. There were plenty of tackles and tries as well as a lot of laughs from not just the team, but also the whole community. Everyone had a great time and definitely enjoyed the win," Burke said.
