Creek, in the frame to play for Australia at this year's Olympics in Tokyo, was charged in March over an incident in Melbourne's western suburbs on November 22 last year.

All charges were however withdrawn in a short hearing at Sunshine Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The decision means the South East Melbourne Phoenix player, who had short stints in the NBA with the Brooklyn Nets and the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2019, remains in contention to be a part of the Boomers squad for this year's Games.

Creek, 28, was initially stood down by the NBL when the charges were laid before being given the all-clear to resume playing after a preliminary hearing was adjourned at the end of March.

In a short statement, the NBL said it was aware of Wednesday's decision to have the charges withdrawn but had been informed by Basketball Australia that an integrity unit investigation will review the matter to determine if further action is necessary.

The third-placed Phoenix face Brisbane in an Anzac Day clash at Nissan Arena.
