The undefeated Tszyu will take on New Zealand fighter Bowyn Morgan at Bankwest Stadium on December 16.

Dubbed 'The Sydney Supershow', Tszyu returns to the ring for the first time since his emphatic TKO win over Jeff Horn in Townsville in August, which took his record to 16-0, 12 KOs.

The card also features ex-NRL star Paul Gallen against UFC legend Kiwi Mark Hunt.

Gallen's last fight was a year ago in Melbourne against former AFL player Barry Hall, which ended in a draw, and he will battle with Hunt over six rounds.

It is the first Sydney stadium fight since Anthony Mundine first fought Danny Green back in 2006 while Tsyzu's father Kostya claimed the IBF world super lightweight title at Parramatta Stadium against Hugo Pineda back in 1996.

Ranked in the top eight at junior middleweight in all boxing organisations and No.2 in the WBO, Tszyu wants to challenge for a world title against champions American Jermell Charlo and Brazilian Patrick Teixeira.

Tszyu said a title fight with WBO No.1 Teixeira was in the works but they couldn't get the deal done.

Tszyu could become mandatory challenger with a victory.

"We were in talks but it fell through because of politics on their side but hopefully we can get it in the near future," he told AAP.

"I'm 100 per cent ready."

Struggling to find an opponent, Tszyu said he'd kept training hard after the Horn bout and was happy just to get back into the ring.

"The dates kept changing, the opponent kept changing but I remained focused and here we are now," the 25-year-old said.

"To be the only fighter in the world to headline two stadium fights this year is impressive, it's a blessing."

Despite chasing a world title fight, Tszyu said he was only focused on Morgan, which was another chance to showcase his talent on a big stage.

"At the end of the day he is a top 15 fighter who is the best in New Zealand," he said

"It's going to be a great fight. I am going to show Australia and the world where I am at."

Tszyu is expected to dominate 31-year-old Morgan, whose wins have come against lower-level opposition in New Zealand for a 21-1, 11 KOs record.

Morgan's only career defeat came against Australian fighter Kris George in 2016.

The Gallen fight will mark a return to the ring for Hunt, 46, who has been inactive since losing a UFC fight in late 2018.

The fight was initially planned for April but due to COVID-19 was put on ice, while Gallen injured his biceps in October.

But the former Sharks and NSW Origin captain said he'd be good to go.

"Mark is a legend of the sport but he has had his time," Gallen said.

"I think my fitness will get me there.

"I have seen videos of him getting kicked in the head and getting back up so I don't think I will be able to hurt him but I will be able to get him on points."

Hunt is a former world kick-boxing champion who has only competed twice as a boxer, his last fight taking place in 2000.
