Released on July, 9, BoM's climate outlook overview for August to October also forecasts both days and nights are likely to be warmer than average across Australia.
Although chances of warmer or cooler than average days are roughly equal across parts of the southern mainland between northern NSW and southeast WA.
Looking at the short-term forecast, the outlook is likely to see below average rainfall for large parts of Australia.

The fortnight between July 13 to 26 is likely to be drier than average for large parts of Australia, however much of the NSW east coast have increased chances of a wetter than average fortnight.
Over the next few days there are showers predicted across most of the central west NSW region, with towns such as Coonamble, Narromine, Dubbo and Wellington likely to receive rain.
This Saturday looks to be the biggest day of rain, with a 95 per cent chance of rainfall between six to 10 millimetres is possible at Wellington on July 11.
While further north at Coonamble, there is a 60 per cent chance of one to six mm rain predicted.
In Dubbo, there is a 90 per cent chance of between five to 15mm rain and the chance of a thunderstorm
