Dubbo Regional Council's draft 2020/21 budget, including the fees and charges, is now on public exhibition.
Members of the public have until 5pm on Friday, May 29 to submit their feedback on the budget and its associated documents.
The plans for the coming financial year include $30 million for water strategy projects. That includes bores and pipelines in Geurie and Wellington, more bores in Dubbo, a non-potable pipeline and an advanced waste water treatment plant.

A pipeline from Obley Road to the Newell Highway is expected to cost $3.3 million in the coming financial year, while another $9 million has been set aside for future pipeline augmentation in the next three years.
There is also $4.9 million allocated across the next two years for the installation of smart water meters.
Sporting facilities will also get an upgrade.
There is currently $2 million set aside to upgrade the amenities at Apex junior league, South Dubbo Oval, Jubilee Oval and Kennard Park in Wellington.
Millions has also been allocated for roads.
Council will spend $12.1 million on urban road works. Major projects include the completion of the Boundary Road extension, reconstruction of Swift Street, reconstruction of selected footpaths and cycleway improvements.
There's also $15.3.1 million allocated for rural roads, which includes $1.92 million to continue the road sealing program.
Council is responsible for maintaining 415 kilometres of urban streets - which includes 472 kilometres of kerb and gutter - and 2320km of rural roads.
Of the rural roads, 42 per cent remain unsealed.
Council also plans to contribute more than $853,000 to the Macquarie Regional Library.
Residents are encouraged to share their feedback on the budget. It will help council shape the documents before they are finalised.

At the moment, the draft 2020/2021 budget has been prepared without the impact of COVID-19 factored in. Its impact will be addressed as part of the September budget review process.
