A freight train that derailed at the weekend near Dubbo has been removed from the site as efforts continue to reopen the line.

Transport for NSW reports the current time frame is to complete works and reopen the track, which is also used for passenger services, on Wednesday evening.
The freight train was travelling towards Dubbo early on Saturday morning when it was derailed between Combo and Geurie on the Main West railway line due to track being damaged by flooding from a short intense storm overnight, Transport for NSW reported.
There were no reported injuries and no dangerous goods being transported by the train, which consisted of two locomotives and 43 wagons, the department reported.
During the incident one locomotive and two wagons derailed.
The railway line is operated and managed by John Holland Rail on behalf of Transport for NSW, the department report.
"The railway line is currently closed to all services between Wellington and Dubbo, with passenger services replaced with buses between Wellington and Dubbo," a Transport for NSW spokesperson said.
"The train was removed from the site yesterday, April 6, and track restoration work is underway.
"Transport for NSW and John Holland Rail are working as fast as is safely possible to restore the track and get freight moving.
"Our current time frame is to complete works and reopen the track on the evening of Wednesday, April 8."
