March, 20 is traditionally a day held throughout the country to acknowledge the impact bullying and violence can have and how kindness, respect and tolerance can create positive and fulfilling relationships.
Wellington Public School hold a large number of programs and activities throughout the year that promote the care and concern of others and despite the national day being cancelled still wanted to show their support.
"In such a difficult time as we are having now, it is so important to look after each other and to check up on others," a school spokesperson said.
