According to the Bureau of Meteorology, rain is predicted daily until Monday, January 20, with showers and a possible storm forecast on Thursday with up to 15 millimetres of rain.
BoM's seven-day forecast as of Wednesday advises of a 80 per cent chance of the town getting between 4mm and 15mm of rain on Friday.

On Saturday, there is an 50 per cent chance of up to 6mm of rain falling.
BoM also reports a 40 per cent chance of Wellington receiving up to 6mm of rain on Sunday and a 50 per cent chance of up to 15mm on Monday.
The days and nights are also forecast to be cooler, with overnight temperatures on Saturday expected to fall between 12 and 17 and daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 27.
