It has been a big year for the town of Wellington and its amazing residents.
Not only were there many sporting achievements, but festivals and other great moments were celebrated.
Both the Wellington Cowboys first grade and reserve grade won their respective Group 11 games against the Dubbo CYMS and the Wellington Redbacks took home the 2019 Oilplus Cup trophy.
But our youngest sporting stars have also had great success, with the St Mary's Catholic School Wolf Pack team doing fabulous in Touch Football and the Wellington High students undertaking the trip of a lifetime thanks to the Real Madrid Foundation.
Locals have shown just how brave and dedicated they are with helping our friends on the coast who were affected by the recent fires.
Farmers received a helping hand thanks to businesses in Wellington from across the region and an Aboriginal dance group aimed to make it rain.
The community welcomed the newly-revamped Wellington Aquatic Leisure Centre in November and also tasted some delicious creations at the 2019 Cob Loaf Championships.
Dancers from far and wide dazzled at the Wellington Eisteddfod and residents had the best of time at the Wellington Boot and Wellington Show.
