Dubbo MP Dugald Saunders said the funding will deliver long-term benefits.
"The project to refurbish Wellington Golf Club's irrigating pump system will provide a more reliable watering system for all weather conditions," he said.
"The new system will provide more economical management of water for the greens and fairways and provide a better playing surface for players.
Thirty-two community organisations in NSW have been awarded a total of $4 million, to fund local projects that build or upgrade facilities across sport and recreation, arts and culture, disaster readiness and essential community infrastructure.

Mr Saunders said the Infrastructure Grants program funds important projects across the state and the NSW Government is proud to support community organisations that work tirelessly to create resilient, healthy and connected communities.
"The projects they're delivering will boost participation in sport, recreation and arts, social inclusion and disaster resilience - making a real difference in people's lives across NSW," he said.
Since 2013, the NSW Government has funded over 350 community projects worth $82 million under the Infrastructure Grants program.
