Under the NSW Government's Infrastructure Grants program, the Wellington Golf Club has received a total of $191,000 to upgrade its irrigation pumping station.
Dubbo MP Dugald Saunders said the funding will deliver long-term benefits.
"The project to refurbish Wellington Golf Club's irrigating pump system will provide a more reliable watering system for all weather conditions," he said.
"The new system will provide more economical management of water for the greens and fairways and provide a better playing surface for players.
Thirty-two community organisations in NSW have been awarded a total of $4 million, to fund local projects that build or upgrade facilities across sport and recreation, arts and culture, disaster readiness and essential community infrastructure.
