The batter will play with the squad at the Toyota Australian Country Championships in Toowoomba from January 2-12.
Together with her 13 teammates, Darney will play with experienced captain Kate Jackson.
The Bush Breakers lost to Victoria Country in the semi-finals of last season's championships and vice-captain Naomi McDonald will again be vital to their title hopes.
Last season, McDonald made 210 runs at an average of 42 during the Country Championships and was named in the Australian Country Women's Merit team.
It was the second successive year that Ziebell and McDonald had been named in the respective Men's and Women's Merit team.
Darney will play under coach Neil McDonald and assistant coach/manager Carolyn Sheehan.
